Welcome: The Embassy is < Open >

The Tech Embassy is a free-form, open space to explore local-centric innovation by neighbors for neighbors, popping-up at a street fair near you. Currently activating during the Funk Parade's Street Fair.

Think of The Tech Embassy as a science fair, only you get to help make some of the experiments happen, right there in person — no matter how much, or how little, you know about “tech.”

Stop by to test drive a 3D printer, learn how local students are fighting food deserts, make your own LED light art, dig into the DC world of civic hacking, and more. (Did someone say open source laser tag??) More info about our projects and partners below.

Stop by anytime: May 3rd, 11AM to 3PM

Main Location: Affinity Lab (920 U St, NW -- Corner of U and 9th)

Art Outpost: Hamiltonian Gallery (1353 U St, NW -- U and 14th)

NOTE: People of all backgrounds (tech or not!), ages, shapes, sizes, and dimensions **welcome.**
